Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the contact details you provide and the content of your request in order to answer your message and handle any follow-up questions.

We do not pass on this data without your consent unless this is necessary to process your request or to comply with legal obligations.

Shopping, cart and checkout

For shopping in the webshop, we store the cart, checkout details, selected shipping and payment methods, tax and shipping information, and technical checkout references in your browser's local storage (and partly session storage). We do not use cookies for this.

The data stored in the browser is used to correctly display and continue the cart, checkout, order summary, payment redirects, and tax/shipping calculation during your purchase.

During checkout, the customer, billing and shipping details you enter, the ordered items, shipping information, payment information and, where applicable, gift card information are transferred to our ERP/shop system so that we can create, process, pay for, ship and correctly document your order for tax purposes.

Depending on the payment method selected, the necessary payment data or payment references are processed for payment handling. Credit card payments are integrated via Saferpay; the webshop uses technical tokens and references for this purpose, but does not permanently store complete credit card details.

Location and tax calculation

The webshop may use a location-related request for price, tax and shipping calculations. Country, country code and – if provided by the location service – approximate location information are cached in the browser's local storage.

If you select a country during checkout, this selection overwrites the cached location for further tax and shipping calculations. Location data is not used for web analytics.

Newsletter and product notifications

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address and selected language to provide the newsletter service.

If you subscribe to notifications about new or newly available products, we process your email address, language and the relevant item reference in order to provide that notification.

No cookies and no web analytics

According to the current implementation, our webshop does not use cookies for the cart, checkout or tracking. Temporary storage required for shopping is handled in the browser via local storage and session storage.

We do not use web analytics tools and we do not use tracking cookies. Your visit behavior is not analyzed for marketing or statistics purposes.

Recipients and retention

Personal data is transferred to service providers and partners only insofar as this is necessary for order processing, in particular to our ERP/shop system, payment service providers, shipping service providers and for compliance with tax and company-law obligations.

We retain order and invoice data in accordance with statutory retention obligations. Cart and checkout data stored locally in the browser can be deleted by clearing your browser storage; individual checkout data is also removed by the webshop after successful completion or payment return.

Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights to information, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection.
